Our newsroom operates 24/7. Breaking news alerts are published instantly as stories develop, while our deep-dive investigative pieces, political analyses, and feature columns are updated daily at 6:00 AM PST.

Can I submit a op-ed or pitch a story to your journalists?

Yes, we welcome pitches from independent journalists and community members. Please review our Editorial Guidelines page and submit your abstract or completed draft directly to our pitches desk at [email protected].

How do I report a factual error or request a correction in an article?

Accuracy is our highest priority. If you spot a factual error, please click the "Report Error" link found at the bottom of every article, or email our standards editor directly at [email protected] with the article URL and verified source details.

What is the difference between the Free and Premium tiers?

Free members receive access to our daily newsletter briefings and up to 5 standard news articles per month. Premium members unlock unlimited site access, deep investigative reports, our complete historical archive, an ad-free reading experience, and exclusive community commenting privileges.

How do I update my billing information or cancel my account?

You can manage your account at any time by clicking the "Account" button in the top right corner of the website navigation bar. From there, you can securely update your credit card details, view past receipts, or toggle your subscription settings.

Do you offer corporate, institutional, or student discounts?

We do! We offer a 50% discount for validated students and educators, as well as scalable group rates for businesses and newsrooms requiring more than 5 active seats. Reach out to our billing team at [email protected] for a custom setup.

How do you protect my data, and do you sell my reading history?

We never sell your personal information or browsing data to third-party advertisers. Your email address and payment details are fully encrypted and securely processed via Stripe. We only track internal aggregate analytics to understand which categories our readers enjoy most.

Why am I not receiving my daily newsletter emails?

If our newsletters aren't hitting your primary inbox, they may be getting routed to your "Promotions" or "Spam" folders. To fix this, add our sending address ([email protected]) to your safe sender list or contacts inside your email provider.
